How do we work and what should you expect?

This coaching contract that sets out the guidelines of what we want to achieve and how we expect to achieve it. This includes parameters, professional conduct, expectations and safeguarding:

My responsibility

You and I will work one to one in a confidential, trusting and non-judgmental environment. I provide objective and non-judgmental observations to raise your self-awareness and to provoke ‘out of the box’ thinking to create shifts in perspective. You will find that I challenge discrepancies between what you may say and what you do/do not do and encourage strategies and specific actions plans with realistic yet challenging deadlines, which may move you from your comfort zone into stretch zones.

Together we will explore and challenge limiting beliefs that could be holding you back from achieving your goals. I aim to examine and clarify ultimate goals/desires, elevating awareness of whether they are in alignment with your core values and will help evaluate the impact of a goal/s successes on your life, building motivation and drive. It is important we also determine all potential obstacles, internal and external, that may prevent moving forward and the successful completion of action plans.

Your Responsibility

I ask that you take full responsibility for your coaching journey and achievement of goals. That you be punctual for sessions and give notice of cancellation and also complete all assigned activities as agreed in session. Above all, we can only achieve success if you come with an open mind and are honest with yourself and your environment.

Each Appointment – what will you expect?

Although we will discuss some basic operating procedures during our first meeting, there are some expectations that need to be set for each meeting and are outlined below

  • Each meeting will be up to an hour long.
  • Today is suggested to be one of no fewer than 3 appointments
  • We shall re-cap on previous sessions if applicable
  • I will take relevant notes by hand or on Notes
  • I shall only record with your permission for learning and training purposes
  • We will hold the meetings in a relaxed atmosphere of our choosing. It may be that remote and Chime is the most convenient in the early stages
  • I shall dedicate time to plan and prepare before each meeting and expect that you will come similarly prepared
  • Will conclude with agreement of the date of next appointment if there is to be one.
